The Hunan Provincial Market Supervision Bureau organized an expert team to evaluate the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon National All-for-One Tourism Service Standardization Pilot Project from July 12 to 13. It was made in accordance with the arrangement of the China’s Standardization Administration.
It passed acceptance check with a high score, becoming Hunan’s first national all-for-one tourism service standardization pilot project.
During the evaluation period, the expert team went to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area, Hetianju Resort Hotel, and Luotan Village to check the integration of tourism resources, industry integration, signage, service facilities, and service quality. An evaluation meeting was held to conduct a comprehensive evaluation on system normalization, integrity, coordination, and effectiveness.
The pilot project construction work was launched in December 2017. It was undertaken by the Tujia Township Government of Sanguansi, Cili County. Now the township has achieved a standard service coverage rate of more than 80% in various fields such as tourism public services, catering, accommodation, travel agencies, scenic spots, shopping, and integrity services. The implementation rate and customer satisfaction rate of tourism products quality, service management level, and tourist satisfaction enhancement reached more than 90%. The tourism service industry accounted for more than 60% of the township’s GDP.
