On July 13 afternoon, Natalie Zange, second secretary of the German Embassy in China, paid a visit to the German Zurbrüggen Group China headquarters, to learn about the construction of the Sino-Germany Intelligent Manufacturing (Hunan) Innovation Center.
The Zurbrüggen Group China headquarters is the first Chinese headquarters of a foreign-funded enterprise in Hunan jointly established by Zurbrüggen Group, a century-old German enterprise, and the Changsha Urban Development Group. It is an urban commercial complex integrating a variety of business forms. The headquarters is positioned as a pilot area for the Changsha (Intelligent Manufacturing) Overseas Returnees Town, and will promote the construction of industrial platforms including the Changsha (Yanghu) International Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Center and the Sino-Germany (Hunan) Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Center.
The Sino-Germany Intelligent Manufacturing (Hunan) Innovation Center is following the “government-supported, market-led and enterprise-operated” mode. It is gathering talent resources, institutional resources and production factors of international and domestic scientific research and intelligent manufacturing industry, and making all-out efforts to build itself into a high-level intelligent manufacturing software research and development center, an intelligent manufacturing innovation project incubation platform and an intelligent manufacturing talent training base. The center has maintained smooth communication with a number of enterprises in the fields of high-quality intelligent manufacturing, and innovation and entrepreneurship incubation.
Natalie Zange fully affirmed the layout of the innovation center, as well as its significance in promoting the Sino-Germany intelligent manufacturing technological and cultural exchanges, building an intelligent manufacturing software research and development base, and serving as an important functional platform for cooperation with Germany in intelligent manufacturing in Hunan Province and even the whole country.
The person in charge of the Zurbrüggen Group China headquarters said that, the headquarters will focus on the Sino-Germany Intelligent Manufacturing (Hunan) Innovation Center, and hold Hunan-Germany economic and trade exchange activities in a regular manner, with the support from the German Embassy in China, and relevant domestic and foreign government agencies and business associations. This will contribute to deepening cooperation with Europe on all fronts and promoting the healthy and stable development of China-EU comprehensive strategic partnership.
