As of 24:00 on July 12, a total of 1,063 cumulative confirmed cases had been reported in Hunan, 4 people had died, 1,049 patients had been discharged from hospitals, and there were 10 patients hospitalized (imported cases).

During the 24 hours of July 12, there were three new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan (imported cases, two of whom were re-categorized as confirmed ones on the day). There were no new cases out of quarantine. There were 12 people under medical observation (imported cases).

A total of 31,846 close contacts have been traced, among whom 378 were under medical observation while 31,468 others have been discharged.
