The photos, taken on July 12, show a spectacular view of the photovoltaic power stations bathed in early morning sunshine at Shitang Village, Dapu Town, Hengdong County. In recent years, the county built two photovoltaic power stations on the spare intertidal zones at the flood outlet of the Xiangjiang River, in Dapu and Xialiu towns. The total installed capacity reaches 40 MW. These power stations have benefited local farmers and increased their incomes. (Photo/Cao Zhengping, Zhou Jian)
