A delegation of Macao young legal professionals, organized by the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao S.A.R., came to Hunan Province for exchanges between July 4 and 9, 2021.

The event is one of a series of activities in Macao to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The delegation is composed of 30 young Macao legal professionals. Tang Xiaoqing, dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Macao, is the head of the delegation. It aimed to further their understanding of China and Hunan Province.

The delegation went to Shaoshan, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Zhangjiajie, and Changsha to visit Chairman Mao Zedong’s Memorial Hall, Aizhai Bridge, Shibadong Village, Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Park, and Zoomlion. They also communicated with Hunan Lawyers Association and reached a preliminary consensus on legal cooperation and exchange between the two places in the next step.

Cui Tianli, deputy head of the visiting delegation, said that he would take this visit as an opportunity to continue to strengthen communication and exchanges between the Macao and Hunan youths, and further promote the development and cooperation between the two places, in order to make new and greater contributions to promoting the successful practice of "One Country, Two Systems" in Macao.
