The Command Center of the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism opened in Changsha on June 30. This indicated that the Hunan Smart Cultural Tourism Big Data Center has begun to take shape, which will effectively promote the quality and efficiency of the province's cultural and tourism work.

The command center was built based on the following structure: one center, one platform and many applications. One center is the Hunan cultural tourism big data center. One platform means the platform of the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism command center, and many applications include multifunctional video conference system, video monitoring and emergency command system, data display and analysis system, and data security protection system.

The command center will integrate cultural and tourism resources across the province, conduct unified management, provide unified services, and improve decision-making capabilities to promote the quality and efficiency of the province's cultural and tourism work.

"At present, the multifunctional video conference system and data display and analysis system have been initially completed, and the Hunan Smart Cultural Tourism Big Data Center has begun to take shape," said Yu Xinrong, deputy director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, secretary of the CPC Leadership Group and director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. Yu added that the command center needs improvement and has a lot of work to be done. Cultural and tourism departments, key scenic spots, cultural venues and cultural protection units of 13 cities and one prefecture will accelerate informatization platform construction, collect various business data, and conduct data transmission with provincial platforms.
