On June 30, Xu Dazhe, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress, visited Hunan Provincial Art, Calligraphy, and Photography Exhibition at the Hunan Art Museum. It is a part of celebrations of the CPC's centenary this year. Xu stressed that we must guide Party cadres as well as the public to rally more closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, draw strength from CPC's glory history, gather positive energy during the Long March of the new era, and write a new chapter for upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
Provincial leaders Wu Lan, Zhang Jianfei, Feng Yi, Liu Lianyu, Sui Zhongcheng, and He Anjie visited the exhibition.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles. It consists of a Hunan provincial fine art works exhibition, a calligraphy and seal cutting works exhibition, and a Hunan provincial photography exhibition. More than 500 pieces of works are on display in four exhibition halls.
The Hunan provincial fine art works exhibition focuses on the CPC’s century-old journey and remarkable achievements. It features more than 60 topics.
The calligraphy and seal cutting works exhibition highlights poems and articles of the CPC.
The photo exhibition centers on three 100-meter-long photoplay works to showcase the beauty of Hunan Province through revolutionary scenic areas, natural scenery, cultural relics, and ancient sites.
Xu Dazhe carefully watched the exhibited works of different genres and types, and communicated cordially with artists, and listened to the creation conception and artistic features of the works. He encouraged everyone to continue to find inspiration and passion from Hunan's revolutionary traditions, rich history and culture, and beautiful mountains and rivers, and to create more outstanding and touching works.
