A conference commending outstanding Party members, Party affairs workers, and advanced primary-level Party organizations in Hunan Province convened in Changsha on June 30, 2021. Xu Dazhe, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee secretary and Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee director, attended and delivered a speech. Mao Weiming, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee deputy secretary and Hunan governor, presided over the meeting. Li Weiwei, CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee chairwoman, attended. Secretary Xu, Governor Mao, and other provincial leaders presented awards to the commended individual and collective representatives. They also awarded “Glorious 50 Years as A CPC Member” commemorative medals to veteran Party members who would have been party members for 50 full years or longer as of July 1, 2021, and have consistently performed well in their roles.

Wu Lan, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee deputy secretary, announced the “Decision of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee on Commending Outstanding Party Members, Party Affairs Workers, and Advanced Primary-level Party Organizations in Hunan Province”. Provincial leaders and veteran comrades Yang Zhengwu, Wang Keying, Hu Biao, Huang Lanxiang, Wang Shuangquan, Xie Jianhui, Zhang Jianfei, Feng Yi, Li Dianxun, Wang Cheng, Wu Guiying, and Liu Lianyu were present.

The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee decided to honor Dong Zhiping and other 195 Party members with the title of “Outstanding Party Member of Hunan Province”, and Li Jun and other 3 comrades the title posthumously. Li Jihuang and other 199 comrades were awarded “Party Affairs Worker”. The title of “Advanced Primary-level Party Organization in Hunan Province” was conferred to the General Party Branch of Kaihui Village, Kaihui Town, Changsha County and other 198 organizations.

Secretary Xu, Governor Mao, and other provincial leaders presented awards to the individual and collective honoree representatives.
