Shuikoushan Workers’ Movement Memorial Hall Opens

The Shuikoushan Workers’ Movement Memorial Hall was officially opened on June 29, 2021. Xu Dazhe, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee secretary and Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee director, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony and announced the opening of the hall.

Wu Lan, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee deputy secretary, presided over the ceremony. Zhou Nong, Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee deputy director and Hunan Federation of Trade Unions chairman, and Geng Yan, China Yan'an Spirit Research Society vice president, attended.

The memorial hall is located in Taipingjiang Group, Dayu Village, Shuikoushan Town, Changning City, Hengyang. The 3,000-square meter exhibition area is divided into three parts, namely, “A Brilliant Example of Great Struggle — Shuikoushan Workers’ Movement History”, “Geng Biao — Proletarian Revolutionary, Military Strategist, and Diplomat”, and “Shuikoushan Mining and Metallurgical History”.

After the opening ceremony, Secretary Xu and his party visited the memorial hall.
