The first investment promotion roadshow of the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Changsha on June 25, 2021. Ten exhibitors to showcase food and agricultural products, and technical equipment, introduced their exhibition plans and exhibits for this year’s CIIE via the roadshow. More than 100 buyers covering Hunan’s food, agricultural products, and technical equipment fields such as Zoomlion and Better Life joined the roadshow.

Nikon, an exhibitor to display its products at the technical equipment exhibition area, would participate in the CIIE for the first time this year. Xu Su, deputy general manager of Nikon Precision Shanghai Co., Ltd., introduced that the 4th CIIE will for the first time set up an integrated circuit area in the technical equipment exhibition area, which meets Nikon's needs for seeking professional partners. This year, Nikon will bring a full line of products from the group including cameras, integrated circuits, medical and health equipment, and optical testing equipment to the exhibition, hoping to find potential suppliers in Hunan Province.

Ausnutria Dairy, a Hunan local company, has participated in the CIIE for many years consecutively and showcased its international achievements through the platform. Zhang Junyi, head of Public Utilities Department of Ausnutria Dairy Industry, said that the company had booked this year's booth during last year’s CIIE and will release new products and upgrade its brand during the 4th CIIE.

The Australian brand Bellamy’s Organic, which has just entered the Hunan market this year, also stated at this investment promotion event that it will further deepen cooperation with Hunan distributors and is expected to start a series of offline product experience activities in Hunan Province starting in July.

The roadshow was carried out online and offline simultaneously. The trading sub-groups of Hunan Province invited buyers in the jurisdiction to watch it online to understand the needs of CIIE and related exhibitors in advance. The 4th CIIE will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) between November 5 and 10 this year. After the first stop of the investment promotion roadshow, more than 20 events will be held nationwide.
