The Hunan Provincial People’s Government reached a cooperation agreement with Huaxia Bank on June 9, 2021. As agreed, the two parties will carry out comprehensive cooperation during the 14th Five-year Plan period (2021-2025). Huaxia Bank will support the implementation of the Three Highlands and Four New Missions Strategy, and facilitate building of a modern new Hunan.  
 
Xie Jianhui, member of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Standing Committee and also executive vice governor of Hunan, and Li Minji, secretary of the CPC Huaxia Bank Committee and president of the bank, attended the signing ceremony.

Huaxia Bank is the fifth listed bank in China, and also the only national joint-stock commercial bank headquartered in Beijing. In the past 11 years since its Changsha branch was established, it has provided financing service of more than 400 billion CNY for Hunan Province, and has played a positive role in boosting Hunan’s high-quality development.

According to the agreement, the two parties will mainly collaborate in such fields as advanced manufacturing, sci-tech innovation, key projects of people’s livelihood, ecological civilization, rural revitalization, private economy and inclusive finance, debt management, and increasing urban and rural residents’ income. Huaxia Bank will provide Hunan with at least 200 billion CNY of comprehensive financing support and related services.
