Marine Biodiversity Protection Advocated in Changsha

June 8 encountereds the 13th World Oceans Day and the 14th China Ocean Day. The Hunan Department of Natural Resources organized more than 100 child and adult visitors to the Changsha Sea World to explore mysterious marine life.



Kids are attracted by the blue underwater world and diverse marine life.

At the aquarium of the Changsha Sea World, visitors were led to the shallow water, deep water, and subsea tunnel areas, and watched a robot show and dolphin performances.



Everyone’s participation is needed in protecting marine biodiversity, and safeguarding ecological environment of oceans.

In China, this year's World Oceans Day is marked with a focus on protecting marine biodiversity and raising public awareness on the harmonious coexistence between humankind and nature.

The Hunan Department of Natural Resources also promoted a video series on marine biodiversity, and arranged marine knowledge popularization panels at the Hunan Geological Museum and the Changsha Sea World. Numerous visitors have been attracted. The awareness of protecting marine biodiversity and harmonious coexistence between humankind and nature has been raised.
