At 10 am on June 1, a live broadcast special program "China Today" Episode Hunan was broadcast on CCTV News Channel and Hunan Satellite TV. The episode was produced by China Media Group and was rebroadcast in CCTV mobile app, hunantoday.cn, and Mango TV.

The live broadcast lasted two hours and had 6 parts including "Red or Revolutionary Land", "Intelligent Hunan", "Great Changes", "Innovative Hunan", "Ecological Hunan", and "Happy Hunan". The audience could feel the vitality of red cultural tourism, learn about rapid progress in intelligent manufacturing and rural revitalization, experience Hunan’s innovation and openness and people’s happy life, and have a closer look at the ecological beauty of green mountains and lucid waters.

The program highlights Hunan’s rich cultural deposits, and fully demonstrates Hunanese’s precious spirits of hardworking and daring to innovate in the new era.
