The China-Korea joint venture intelligent display standardized plant construction project was capped on May 31, 2021. Chen Ailin, CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee deputy secretary and Chenglingji New Port Area Party and Working Committee first secretary, attended and announced the capping. Relevant persons in charge of New Port Area, Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone Yueyang Area, Yueyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and participating units, participated.

The project is one of the five major ones in the “95668” target mission of New Port Area. It is also one of the first group of “clean plant projects” introduced by the Yueyang government (the cleanliness level is up to 100) and one of the 100-billion-yuan industrial cluster important improvement and upgrading strategic projects. Since the start of construction on April 1, the participating units have overcome difficulties and completed the plant capping 15 days in advance, which showcases the fastest speed of the Yueyang project construction.

Upon completion, it is expected to operate 34 high-end LCD binding manufacturing production lines, with an annual processing output value of more than 5.7 billion yuan. It is estimated to drive the growth of upstream and downstream industrial chain economy by about 20 billion yuan, which will lay a solid foundation for Yueyang city to build a 100-billion-yuan electronic information industrial cluster and promote rapid economic development.
