During the 24 hours of May 16, there were no new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan. There were no new cases out of quarantine. There were 5 people under medical observation (All are imported cases).

A total of 30,830 close contacts have been traced, among whom 120 were under medical observation while 30,710 others have been discharged.
