The photo, taken on May 15, shows the construction site of Fenghuang Maglev Cultural Tourism Project. It is China’s first “maglev + culture + tourism” project and a provincial key project.

The maglev line started construction in August 2019. It has a total length of 11.2 kilometers, with 9.12 kilometers to be built in the first phase. Its designed speed is expected to be 100km/h. The maglev line and Zhangjiajie-Jishou-Huaihua High-speed Railway will open to traffic at the end of the year, to achieve seamless connection. (Photo/Teng Jiankang)
