2021-05-17 Download Print

China’s first battery electric vaccination vehicle drove into Yantou Village, Chashan’ ao Town, Hengyang, on May 16, 2021. More than 100 villagers went through the whole process including pre-examination, registration, vaccination, and observation, in an orderly way. There are five seats for vaccination and medical operation.

The refrigerated storage system and vehicle-mounted vaccination system are linked with the monitoring system of the Hunan Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Internet and intelligent technologies are adopted to enable real-time feedbacks from the vehicle to the monitoring system. The photo shows villagers waiting in line to get vaccinated on that day.
