The first makeshift COVID-19 vaccination center in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture was launched at the stadium of the Xiangxi Vocational and Technical College for Nationalities on May 9, 2021. This 20-seat vaccination center covers more than 1,000 sqm, with nearly 100 medical personnel working there. A temporary Party committee and three working teams have been established.
