On May 6 and 7, the Hunan Provincial Party and Government Delegation was on an inspection and study tour in Jiangxi Province. On the morning of May 7, the Jiangxi-Hunan Provincial Cooperation and Development Exchange Symposium was held in Nanchang, capital of Jiangxi Province. Xu Dazhe, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee secretary and Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee director, and his Jiangxi counterpart Liu Qi, attended and delivered speeches. Mao Weiming, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee deputy secretary and Hunan governor, and his counterpart in Jiangxi, Yi Lianhong, respectively introduced the provincial economic and social development. Li Weiwei, CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee chairwoman, attended.
Hunan provincial leaders Xie Jianhui, Zhang Jianfei, Wu Guiying, Liu Lianyu, and Chen Fei; and, Jiangxi provincial leaders Ye Jianchun, Yin Meigen, Zhao Liping, Ren Zhufeng, and Chen Junqing participated in the inspection tour or attended the symposium.

During their stay in Jiangxi, the Hunan delegation inspected Nanchang VR Science and Technology Innovation Town, Nanchang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Nanchang Aviation Town, and other industrial parks and platforms. They learned about VR technology R&D and industrial development, “Yingshanhong Action” progress and effective measures, and key aviation projects construction. They visited Jiangxi Everbright Measurement and Control Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangxi BMTC Semiconductor Co., Ltd., AVIC Hongdu Group, China Resources Jiangzhong Pharmaceutical Group, and other enterprises, to learn about the development of electronic information, new energy, aviation, traditional Chinese medicine, and other advantageous industries. The delegates studied the city planning and construction of the one river and two banks project in Nanchang. They also went to Yichun's Gao'an, to observe the Tonry lithium battery diaphragm project and the Bafuluo Pastoral Complex.
The delegation also made a special trip to the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall to recall the glorious history, pay tribute to the old site of the uprising, accept the red or revolutionary education, and absorb the power of forging ahead on the Long March Road in the new era.
