The photos, taken on April 30, show passengers taking aerial photos of Changsha on a helicopter. A maiden flight of the Hunan low-altitude travel route was launched at Fujiazhou Isle, Changsha, on that day. An opening ceremony of the Starry Sky Flying Campground was held simultaneously.
The campground starts a trial operation during the May Day holiday, and will open completely in mid-May. It provides four air travel routes, including a 5-minute standard route around the Orange Isle Scenic Area; and, a 10-minute high-level route covering the Orange Isle Scenic Area, Young Mao Zedong Statue on the isle, Wuyi Square, Meixi Lake, and Xiangjiang Riverside scenic belt. Another two routes – a 20-minute patrol route in plan, and a revolution-themed route, are to be open in the future. (Photo/Fu Cong, Wang Han, Hunan Daily)
