The Information Office of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government held a press conference on April 13. It announced that the 2021 Internet Yuelu Summit will open in Changsha on April 16.
This year marks the 8th Internet Yuelu Summit. The summit will fully display the development achievements of Hunan’s internet industry; highlight emerging business forms such as intelligent manufacturing, industrial internet, digital new economy, cultural and scientific integration, autonomous control, and cybersecurity; and, focus on the integrated development of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan city cluster and the high-quality development of Hunan’s internet industry.
A variety of activities will be held during the summit. Experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Huawei, Xpeng Motors, Fortune Venture Capital, Chiopt, and other companies in fields of digital engineering, algorithm and computing power, intelligent manufacturing, investment, and scientific and technological innovation will deliver keynote speeches. Intelligent manufacturing industry leaders in Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan will attend a roundtable forum. The summit includes 7 Changsha venue activities, 1 Loudi venue activity, and 1 exchange activity. The opening ceremony, the Yuelu Forum and sub-venue activities will be broadcast live online.
A total of 442 entrepreneurs have been invited to the summit, including leaders of 39 listed companies, 3 unicorn companies and 5 Fortune 500 companies. It is estimated that 500, 000 entrepreneurs and personnel in related industries will participate online.
Meixi Lake, Changsha is the main venue for the summit, and other Changsha sub-venues are Xiangjiang New Area, Changsha National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Malanshan, Sunward, 58 Town, and Yuelu Academy.
The summit is organized by the Hunan Provincial Internet Information Office, the Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Department, the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Hunan Xiangjiang New Area Management Committee. It is undertaken by the Changsha National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee, the Huxiang Association, and the Xinxiang Association.
