People Commemorate Revolutionary Martyrs During Qingming Festival

The photo, taken on April 2, shows university students of reserve forces observing a moment of silence for Ge Zhenling, one of the five heroes on Langya Mountain during the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, at the Hengyang Martyrs’ Cemetery.

The university organized a martyr tomb sweeping activity on that day. The students went to the martyrs’ cemetery, presented flowers to the martyrs, listened to heroes’ stories, and reviewed the revolutionary history. (Photo/Cao Zhengping, Xie Jun)
