As the Qingming Festival holiday is approaching, the Changsha Intangible Cultural Heritage Hall has organized
various activities to promote intangible cultural heritage to let people feel
the charm of traditional Hunan culture.
The hall will remain open during the Qingming Festival holiday, which lasts from April 3 to 5. It will be closed on April 6. During the holiday, visitors will have the chance to follow inheritors Wen Zhifei, Hu Jian and Chen Jincheng, and try their hands at intangible cultural heritage items including handmade steelyard making, wood carving and dough modelling.
Free intangible cultural heritage performances will be staged at the theater of the hall during the holiday, including flower-drum opera, face-changing, Tanci, crosstalk, and allegro.
Duration: April 3 to 5; 11:00-12:00, 14:00-15:00
