On March 28, the Red or Revolutionary Group Tour Inauguration Ceremony and the 2021 Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Red Cultural Tourism Year kicked off on Orange Isle, Changsha City.
Hunan is one of the important sources of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese revolution. It is a land with glorious revolutionary traditions.
The 2021 Red Cultural Tourism Year activities were announced. Eight travel routes in Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, and border area of Hunan and Jiangxi provinces, and 12 important red scenic spots in Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan were promoted.
Travel agency industry in Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan will establish a strategic cooperative relationship of mutual exchange of tourists, carry out multi-level and multi-dimensional cooperation, and jointly create an integrated cultural tourism market in Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan.
Representatives of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan culture, tourism and radio (sports) bureaus jointly signed the "Regional Cultural Tourism Cooperation and Development Agreement". They will expand cooperation through establishing a cultural and art exchange mechanism and a public cultural service alliance, and developing travel routes. Changsha City issued the "Interim Incentive Measures for Supporting Travel Agencies in Further Expanding Local Guide Business, Stabilizing Market, and Promoting Consumption". It encouraged travel agencies to actively explore stable markets, make transformation and upgrade, and facilitate the domestic and international circulations through cultural tourism.
The event was guided by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee; Changsha Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, and Television; Zhuzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television, and Sports; and, Xiangtan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television and Sports.
