On the same day, the students carried out various voluntary service activities under the theme of “Valuing Water”, to mark the 29th World Water Day. Events included picking up garbage, testing water quality, cleaning river banks, and water-themed flashmob.
On March 21, the young volunteers picked up rubbish on Dongzhou Island, Yanfeng District, Hengyang City.
The students also tested the water quality of the island on the Xiangjiang River on the same day.
