On March 11, the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the “List of Key Projects in Hunan's Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry in 2021”. The Jinxia Consumer Electronics Industrial Cluster Area Project is on the list. Its Phase Ⅰ is under construction at the east extension of Qingzhuhu Road, Changsha. The factory and R&D building construction have completed more than 80%. Upon full completion, it will become a world-class consumer electronics terminal product manufacturing base.

There are 30 projects on the list, mainly involving in key areas of the new generation of information technology industry, such as information technology application innovation industry engineering, new displays, integrated circuits and semiconductors, smart terminals, high-end components, and new electronic materials. They focus on the industrial chain upgrading, and the use of technological innovation and scale effects to form new competitive advantages.

These projects are worth a total investment of 135.2 billion yuan. An amount of 43.3 billion yuan is planned for 2021. Each project has an investment of more than 500 million yuan, and 4 projects have a total investment of more than 10 billion yuan each.

It was learned that after the 30 key projects are implemented and reached production capacity, the estimated new revenue will be more than 100 billion yuan. This will become the new engine of Hunan industrial development.
