On March 11, the Hunan “Internet + National Voluntary Tree Planting” Online Program was officially launched, according to the Hunan Provincial Greening Committee Office. The public can take part in it and fulfill their legal responsibilities for tree planting through the WeChat official account of Hunan Forestry Bureau.

The “Internet + National Voluntary Tree Planting” is a new campaign for citizens of the right ages to fulfill their legal obligations. Hunan Province piloted it in 2019, and has established "Internet + National Voluntary Tree Planting" bases in Shaoshan Scenic Area and Yueyang Forest Ecological Expo Park. Hunan Province also launched other campaigns online.

The online program makes tree planting more conveniently. It has six columns: updates, make a donation, tree planting activities, tree adoption, make an application, and about the program. The public can donate funds, register for tree planting activities, and adopt trees online.

The certificates will be granted to:
--those who participate in tree planting activities;
--those who make a combined donation of 45 yuan in a year; and,
--those who make a combined donation of 90 yuan in a year.

Unified receipts for public welfare donations issued by China Green Foundation will be delivered to those who make a single donation of more than 100 yuan. If the donator is an enterprise, it can enjoy tax deduction by showing the receipt.
