The first Chenzhou-Europe freight train departed from Chenzhou International Port on March 5. Its destination was Malaszewicze, Poland.
It was loaded with 50 containers of electronic products and cross-border parcels from east, central, and south China. It will take about 13 days to travel the 10,720 km to Malaszewicze. It will pass through China’s Erenhot entry-exit port, and Mongolia, Russia, and Belarus. The goods ultimate destinations are Hamburg and Duisburg in Germany.
The service is safe, effective, and quick. Previously the journey needed 20 days or more by sea. It will run once a week during a trial operation period and twice a week after.
