The Hunan delegation to the fourth session of the 13th National People’s Congress (NPC) held its second press conference in Beijing on the afternoon of March 10, 2021. Journalists from the People’s Daily, Xinhua agency, CCTV, and mainstream media in Hunan Province attended.

During this session, the 119 Hunan-based NPC deputies fulfilled their duties with high enthusiasm and sense of responsibility. They firmly followed the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee, State Council, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, and Hunan Provincial People’s Government, and focused on the topics of “Three Highlands and Four Missions”, and synchronizing poverty alleviation with rural vitalization. They submitted a total of 15 motions and 535 suggestions – including three collective suggestions. The per capita number of motions was higher than the national average.
