February 17 is the sixth day of the Chinese Lunar New Year. Xu Dazhe, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee secretary and Hunan Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee director, came to Changsha to inspect the development of enterprises in Changsha High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. In Chinese culture, the ox is a symbol of diligence, dedication, and strength. He asked to carry forward the spirit of the ox of serving the people diligently, opening up new grounds bravely, and working tirelessly. He called for being practical and at the forefront in building the “Three Highlands” to achieve better development results in the Year of the Ox.
Xie Jianhui, CPC Hunan Provincial Standing Committee member and executive vice governor; Zhang Jianfei, CPC Hunan Provincial Standing Committee member and secretary-general; and Wu Guiying, CPC Hunan Provincial Standing Committee member and CPC Changsha Municipal Committee secretary, joined the inspection tour.
Secretary Xu emphasized that at present, Hunan is comprehensively implementing the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s important speech made when inspecting Hunan; implementing the “Three Highlands and Four New Missions” strategy; and striving to build a modern new Hunan. Enterprises play important roles in developing advanced manufacturing, promoting scientific and technological innovation, and deepening reform and opening up. They must find their own positioning; choose the right focus; integrate the realization of becoming bigger and stronger with the high-quality development of the province; and, combine the self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology with the improvement of the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises. They should make great strides to “go global and realize high-end “bringing in” to achieve both economic and social benefits.
He said that Changsha must effectively relieve the burden of enterprises, provide high-quality services, create a good environment, and better stimulate the endogenous motivation of the majority of market entities. It must carry forward the spirit of the ox and make great efforts in the new year; revitalize the spirit of accelerating high-quality development; establish a work orientation that attaches importance to the implementation; do practical work and walk in the forefront in the implementation of the “Three Highlands and Four New Missions” strategy; and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC with excellent results, he added.
