On the afternoon of February 9, Mao Weiming, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee deputy secretary and Hunan governor, chaired the first plenary meeting of the Hunan Provincial Safety Production Committee in 2021. He stressed the need to implement the President Xi Jinping’s important speeches on production safety, and the spirit of the national teleconference on production safety. He called for efforts to perform solid work on production safety, realize the goal of "Three Resolutions and Two Guarantees", and create a safe and stable environment for implementing the “Three Highlands and Four New Missions" strategy, and building a modern new Hunan.
The “Three Resolutions” means resolutely preventing particularly serious accidents, major accidents, and heavy casualties caused by natural disasters.
The “Two Guarantees” means guaranteeing that the total number of production safety accidents in Hunan continues to decline, and the province’s safety situation continues to improve.
