Hunan Government Service APP Launched

On February 4, the Hunan government service APP named "Xin Xiang Shi Cheng" was officially launched. A total of 1,600 administrative approval items of 46 provincial departments and bureaus can be handheld online without the need to be physically present. With the APP's aid, 58 inter-provincial government services are available.

The "Xin Xiang Shi Cheng" APP was jointly developed by the Hunan Provincial People’s Government Development and Research Center and China Construction Bank Hunan Branch. It has eight functional parts, including services for handling my licenses, popular services, provincial government service hall, inter-provincial government services, government affairs updates, life, and my sector. A total of 1,440 provincial government service hall business items can be done and appointment is required; 200 public services and administrative payment service can be handled.

The APP has functions such as inquiring digital travel records, 8 types of electronic certificates, face recognition login, and smart customer service to provide users with most convenient service.

Tan Wensheng, director of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government Development and Research Center, said that the launch of the APP aims to deepen reforms of streamlining administration and delegating power, improving regulation, and upgrading services such as "one-step approval process", to improve business environment and energize market players, and solve problems of pressing public concern. The move will help increase the sense of gain of enterprises and the public.

Zhang Zhijun, deputy secretary general of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government, attended the launching ceremony.
