Since the beginning of Chunyun, the Spring Festival travel rush, Hunan has organized 99 teams of 7,925 volunteers to serve at crowded railway stations, long-distance bus stations, airports, and other key transportation hubs.

The provincial volunteer teams mainly work at the Changsha Railway Station and Changsha High-speed Railway Station, to provide information and guidance, picking up, and carrying luggage services. They also assist passengers in health QR code registration, and help those who fail to register.

Hengyang volunteers collaborated with the Hengyang Rail Transport Procuratorate to launch flash mob activities, and present ginger soup to keep them warm and Spring Festival couplets to passengers at the Hengyang East Railway Station.

Chenzhou volunteers contact with passenger transport companies and high-speed railway station to collect and publish updated transport information, and help solve passengers’ difficulties during their journey.
