The Hunan Health Commission launched a new COVID-19 virus detection information system on January 29, 2021. Organizations and individuals can check their nucleic acid testing results and related information via the WeChat public account “湖南省居民健康卡Hunan Resident Health Card ”. Result of tests made at more than 500 nucleic acid testing institutions around Hunan can be checked.

Supported by the new system, users can register for nucleic acid testing, check testing results, and also check their COVID-19 vaccination certifications on the public account. These information are displayed below the health QR code.

People can make a reservation for nucleic acid testing after going through the process: follow the WeChat public account “湖南省居民健康卡Hunan Resident Health Card” – click “健康卡 Health Card” – select testing date and institution. Both online and offline reservations are available. The testing results will be shown below the testee’s health code within the following day, and can be visible for 15 days. For the people who have taken COVID-19 vaccine, their vaccination information including date and institutions will also be shown.
