The Hunan Volunteer Service Federation launched a “heart-warming campaign” on January 27. It advocated and motivated volunteers and volunteer service organizations to provide assistance to the non-Hunanese stay in Hunan and the Hunan people stay outside Hunan during this Spring Festival holiday.

The campaign will collect people’s wishes from online and offline channels, and help realize them. Volunteers and volunteer service organizations are motived to provide assistance to the non-Hunanese spending Spring Festival holiday in Hunan, including informing epidemic prevention and control policy knowledge, providing basic protective materials, and helping purchase daily necessities. Meanwhile, volunteers will visit and care for the elderly and left-behind children of the Hunan people who will stay where they work during the holiday. This campaign aims to promote Lei Feng Spirit of voluntarily serving the society, and mutual help, to help solve people’s difficulties and realize their wishes.
