13th Hunan Provincial People’s Congress Fourth Session Kicks off in Changsha

Hunan strives to build itself a modern new Hunan and start a new journey during the “14th Five-Year Plan”. At 9 am on January 25, the Fourth Session of the 13th Hunan Provincial People’s Congress was grandly convened at the People's Hall of Hunan Province. More than 700 representatives of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress gathered together to seek common development plans and draw a promising blueprint. The conference was presided over by Xu Dazhe, executive chairman of the presidium and executive chairman of the session. Acting Governor Mao Weiming made a work report on behalf of the Hunan Provincial People's Government.

The meeting was scheduled to vote on the Measures for the By-election of the Fourth Session of the 13th People's Congress of Hunan Province (Draft). The following documents will be presented at the meeting: the Draft Outlines of Hunan Province's 14th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Long-Range Objectives through the Year 2035; the Report on Implementation of the 2020 National Economic and Social Development Plan of Hunan Province and the Draft Plan for 2021; and, the Report on Implementation of the 2020 Budget of Hunan Province and the Draft Budget for 2021.; the Report on Implementation of the 2020 National Economic and Social Development Plan of Hunan Province and the Draft Plan for 2021; and, the Report on Implementation of the 2020 Budget of Hunan Province and the Draft Budget for 2021.
