In recent years, Zhuzhou has made every effort to build itself into China's Power Valley, and promote the high-quality development of the automotive industry. A complete automotive industrial chain integrating design and R&D; testing; parts production; finished vehicle manufacturing; product sales; and, after-sales service has been taken shape. Great efforts have been made to vigorously promote the construction of Hunan's electromechanical (motor vehicle) industry foreign trade base, which provides strong support for the development of used car export business. In November last year, Zhuzhou was successfully approved as Hunan’s only national pilot city for second-hand car export. The 30 second-hand cars, worth about 1.6 million yuan, will be exported to Nigeria, Ghana, Uzbekistan and other countries by a Zhuzhou-based company.
Before the ceremony, He Baoxiang inspected the Hunan Motor Vehicle Inspection Center. He fully affirmed Zhuzhou's automobile industrial chain achievements, and asked the center to focus on the needs of industrial development, actively build and improve public service platforms for common technology research and development, inspection and testing. He urged the center to improve its industrial chain supporting facilities, and innovative talent introduction and training mechanisms, so as to provide better services for Hunan's automobile industry and shoulder greater responsibility in building Hunan into a hub of advanced manufacturing industry of national importance, a hub of technological innovation with core competitiveness, and a hub of reform and opening up in inland regions.
