Changsha primary and secondary schools will dismiss the students at different times and adjust the winter vacation times to reduce and prevent the risks of COVID-19 infection. This adjustment was made in light of the international and domestic epidemic prevention and control situation, and in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and the suggestions of the Changsha COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters.

Kindergarten, primary and junior high school students will commence their winter vacation on January 23. Senior high school students, except those in the third year, will start winter vacation on January 30. The starting date of the winter vacation for senior high school third-year students will remain unchanged, which is on February 6.
