The Hunan Provincial Tourist Attraction Rating Commission announced on January 11 the list of nine new Hunan industrial tourism demonstration sites.

The 9 demonstration sites are:
--Changsha Jiajia Food Group Industrial Park;
--Changsha Xiangcha High-tech Industrial Park;
--Hunan Yanfeng Wine Co., Ltd. (Hengyang);
--Zhuzhou China Power Valley Exhibition Center;
--Zhuzhou Beijing Automotive Co., Ltd.;
--Xiangtan Longpai Food Industrial Park;
--Hunan Shanmu Nutrition Technology Co., Ltd, Shaoyang;
--Yiyang Shilin Food Co., Ltd.; and,
-- Hunan Xiangquan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.

Industrial tourism demonstration sites refer to places that have the functions of sightseeing, research, display, leisure, health care, and shopping, and that provide supportive tourist facilities and services. They include industrial enterprises, industrial parks, industrial exhibition areas, industrial historical sites and carriers reflecting major events, industrial technological achievements, and technological civilization.

According to the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Hunan began to assess industrial tourism demonstration sites in 2016. So far, Hunan has 96 industrial tourism demonstration sites, of which 6 are national ones.
