During the 24 hours of January 3, there were no new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan. There were no new cases out of quarantine. There were 9 people under medical observation (imported cases).
 
A total of 29,442 close contacts have been traced, among whom 247 were under medical observation while 29,195 others have been discharged.
