During the 24 hours of December 17, there was one new asymptomatic COVID-19 case reported in Hunan (imported case). There were no new cases out of quarantine. There were two people under medical observation (imported cases).
 
A total of 29,192 close contacts have been traced, among whom 66 were under medical observation while 29,126 others have been discharged.
