On December 14, the 2020 National Industrial Inter-net APP and Information Consumption Race was held in Zhuzhou. Hunan Vice Governor Chen Fei attended.

The Hunan Yunlong Big Data Industrial Park Promotion and Project Matchmaking Conference was held on the same day. “Digital” companies such as Baidu and Huawei signed 79 projects with Zhuzhou, with a total investment of 82.7 billion yuan.

The contracted projects focused on such digital industries as artificial intelligence and big data, and information technology application innovation engineering, including emerging advantageous industries of new energy, new materials, biomedical health, and aerospace. Among them, there were 14 Fortune Global 500 companies, 6 projects each with an investment of more than 5 billion yuan, and 33 projects each with an investment of over 500 million yuan. Investors were mainly from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and other important economic circles. Foreign-funded and export-oriented enterprise projects accounted for a quarter of the total. The Zhuzhou Qingshuitang 1956 SoReal Science and Technology Cultural Future Center invested by the Beijing Sky Limit Entertainment Group will be built into an industrial heritage cultural tourism project that integrates industrial cultural tourism and scientific and technological experience.

As a major enabling industry in China's Power Valley, Zhuzhou's big data industry has begun to take shape. The city’s Hunan Yunlong Big Data Industrial Park, with a planned total area of 4,546 mu (303 ha), will establish cutting-edge technology platforms for big data collection, storage, computing, and analysis. It strives to build itself into an important influential big data industry cluster and demonstration park in Hunan and nationwide. Currently, there are 45 projects settled down here.
