The 2020 “One Town One Product (OTOP)” International Commodity Fair, also the National Conference on the Development in Ethnic Minority Areas, opened in Changsha on December 11. Hunan Vice Governor He Baoxiang announced the opening.

This year’s theme was “One Belt, One Road, One World; One Town, One Product, One Dream”. It was co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of National Trade (CCPNT) and the Changsha Municipal People’s Government. The 5th National Conference on the Development in Ethnic Minority Areas was launched simultaneously.
As an internationally significant exhibition in Changsha, it presented development achievements of the border regions; regional brands; overseas products; industrial services; and, Hunan specialties. The exhibition covered 22,000 sqm. Exhibitions, forums, live streams, and project promotions were held to boost the OTOP project to meet the people’s ever-growing need for a better life.

A series of activities were held during, including industrial development forum; industrial design award ceremony; standardization forum; global purchasers meeting; new media development forum; and, serial live streams for promoting building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.

More than 4,000 products of nearly 80 governmental delegations and 1,300 Chinese and foreign enterprises were presented at the fair. Foreign exhibitors were from 18 countries and regions. Nearly 10,000 professional purchasers and audiences participated in the fair online.
