The press conference was attended by CCPNT leadership, including Chairman Lan Jun, Council Executive Chairman Zhang Baohe, Executive Chairman Zhang Fuyang, Vice Chairman and Secretary General Zhang Xudong; Li Jianghua, deputy secretary general of the Changsha Municipal People’s Government, and Chen Shuzhong, director of Changsha Office of Convention and Exhibition Affairs; and representatives of enterprises and media.

Online and offline events will be organized. The offline exhibition will cover 22,000 sqm. Five themed exhibition areas present development achievements of the border regions; regional brands; overseas products; industrial services; and, Hunan specialties. More than 300 offline and 1,000 online exhibitors, 2,000 purchasing agents, and 3,000 professional and 20,000 ordinary visitors will attended the fair.
The National Ethnic Regions Development Conference will showcase development of the border regions and achievements in poverty alleviation in ethnic regions, and match superior resources of local governments, enterprises, and the society, so as to boost economic and social development in ethnic regions. A series of activities will be held during the conference, including ethnic medicine inheritance and development forum; OTOP industrial development forum; OTOP industrial design award ceremony; OTOP standardization forum; and, serial live streams for promoting building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
Information technologies such as 5G, cloud computing, 3D, big data, and livestreaming will be adopted, to enable overseas exhibitors and purchasing agents to participate.
Beyond that, folk custom and intangible cultural heritage experience activities will be organized. Visitors can watch performances and taste regional specialties at the fair.
