On December 23, the opening ceremony of Hunan Provincial Inspection and Testing Characteristic Industrial Park Headquarters Base was held in Yuelu District, Changsha. A project signing ceremony was held the same time. Hu Henghua, CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Standing Committee member and CPC Changsha Municipal Committee secretary, announced the opening of the park. 

 

As the first professional park of its kind in Hunan, and even central China, it wins two titles: the “National Inspection and Testing High-Tech Service Industry Cluster Area”, and the “National Public Service Platform Demonstration Zone for Inspection, Testing, and Certification”.

 

The base covers an area of 135 mu (9 ha.), with a total construction area of about 200,000 square meters. It has “Six Centers” for: inspection and certification industrial integration; equipment testing technology; automobile testing; intelligent unmanned testing; testing equipment manufacturing; and technology research and development. It integrates equipment research and development, testing and certification, and supporting services.

 

Secretary of the CPC Yuelu District Committee Zhou Zhikai said that, the park mainly focuses on auto parts quality inspection, civil engineering inspection, life science quality inspection, and industrial product quality inspection. It features new-generation information technology and artificial intelligence industry. It aims to create a first-class inspection and testing professional demonstration park in the province, and a leading one in the central China area. At present, 17 companies have already located in the park, and more than 30 companies are negotiating with the park to move in.
