Hunan Taxpayers can pay their taxes by WeChat via a one-stop taxpaying service from December 18, 2018. The State Administration of Taxation (SAT) and the People's Bank of China (PBC) jointly launched "Wise Ta" cooperation with WeChat Pay, which enables taxpayers to pay their taxes by scanning a QR code. Hunan, Fujian and Henan provinces, and Qingdao City, are the first pilot areas.

After completing tax declaration at tax bureau, or through an electronic channel, taxpayers only take the following three steps to pay their taxes:
1.Scan the QR code via WeChat Pay;
2.Check the tax amount;
3.Choose a bank card to pay.

"So convenient!" said a food trading company CFO, "compared with the previous tiring process, it takes me no more than 10 seconds to compete tax payment!"

The WeChat Tax Payment is directly connected with the Treasury Information Processing System (TIPS). Every tax paid through WeChat Pay will be cleared through a compliance clearing house, the tax bureau, and the treasury management system of the PBC. It not only provides a convenient way of tax payment, but also ensure timely and safe delivery of tax funds to be the national treasury.
