Groups of macaques recently left their forest habitat to bask in the winter sunshine at Wulingyuan Scenic Spot in Zhangjiajie, Hunan province. They took a rest, found food or played with each other.
The attraction is known for its karst landscapes, springs, gorges, lakes, streams, and sandstone. Zhangjiajie will host the first Tourism Development Conference of Hunan Province on Saturday and Sunday, to discuss the balance between pandemic control and development of the culture and tourism industry.
