To be responsible for the work related to civil affairs; ecological environment; transportation; veterans affairs; and, ports. To be in charge of the Department of Civil Affairs of Hunan Province; Ecology and Environment Department of Hunan Province; Department of Transportation of Hunan Province; Department of Veterans Affairs of Hunan Province; and, Hunan Airport Management Group. To liaise with the Hunan National Religious Affairs Committee; Hunan Disabled Persons' Federation; Hunan Provincial Postal Administration; China Post Hunan Branch; CAAC Hunan Safety Administration; Hunan Office of the China Railway Guangzhou Group; and, Hunan branches of civil aviation companies. To liaise with the Hunan Provincial Committee of Jiusan Society.

Li Jianzhong, male, Han nationality, was born in May, 1965. He obtained a master's degree through an in service graduate course and is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). He is now serving as vice governor of the People's Government of Hunan Province and a member of the CPC Leadership Group of the People's Government of Hunan Province.
