The Third Session of the 14th Hunan Provincial People's Congress approved the resolution on the provincial government work report on January 18, 2025. According to the drafting team of the government work report, 91 "golden ideas" from internet users were included in this year's report. Soliciting suggestions from the public through brainstorming has made the report more pragmatic for the people.

This is the seventh consecutive year that the People's Government of Hunan Province, in cooperation with various media outlets, government websites at municipal level or affiliated to provincial departments, and government affairs new media across Hunan Province, has launched the "I Have Golden Ideas" campaign for internet users on the provincial government work report. A total of 328,500 internet users from all walks of life nationwide visited the campaign column on the provincial government web portal and submitted 2,973 "golden ideas". Of which, 91 were adopted or partially adopted and directly reflected in the government work report.

The report is filled with practical responses to the expectations of internet users. For example, a suggestion on "speeding up the construction of rural express delivery and logistics sites" was adopted and clarified in the section on "ten major projects related to people's livelihoods for 2025" in the report. It was mentioned that 19,000 comprehensive logistics service stations will be built in rural areas by 2025. The proposal of "standardizing enterprise-related law enforcement and optimizing the business environment" also garnered attention. The report made it clear that a sepcial action for enterprise-related law enforcement will be carried out in 2025 to resolutely address issues such as profit-driven fines and penalties that replace proper management.

"In addition to being submitted to the drafting team of the government work report for reference, many of the 'golden ideas' have been forwarded to the relevant departments for study and processing to promote work improvement," said the "I Have Golden Ideas" campaign office. The staff members treated each "golden idea" meticulously. Some ideas were forwarded to the relevant departments for study, handling, and reply; others were displayed to the public through the online campaign column; and, some were delivered to leaders and the report drafting team. This fully showcased the government's sincerity in listening to public opinions and addressing their concerns.
