National Day holiday is approaching. During the holiday from October 1 to 7, Changsha and Zhangjiajie air ports will usher in a peak of entry-exit passenger trips. It is estimated that 40,000 passenger trips will be received, according to the Hunan General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection.

Changsha airport is expected to see 23,000 entry-exit passenger trips and handle 120 entry-exit passenger flights, respectively 75% and 11% higher than the same period in 2023. The peak days will be October 3, 4, and 5, with peak travel times expected from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 21:00 to 1:00 the following day.
Zhangjiajie airport is estimated to receive 16,000 entry-exit passenger trips and handled 100 entry-exit passenger flights, respectively increasing by 118% and 120% year on year. Travel peaks are expected to occur on October 3 and 6, and the peak travel times will last from 12:00 to 16:00, and from 21:00 to 23:00.

As of September 26, Hunan's exit and entry frontier inspection stations have handled more than 1.18 million passenger trips this year, a record high over the past five years.
The Hunan Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection warmly reminds the travelers to:
1. Follow the official information platforms, such as the official website and WeChat public account of the National Immigration Administration, WeChat mini-program "移民12367",website of China Consular Affairs, WeChat public account "领事直通车", and WeChat mini-program "中国领事",to learn about safety situations, weather, disasters, diseases, transportation, and entry policies ahead of the trips; carefully check entry-exit certificates and other related documents and materials before departure; make reasonable travel plans; and, pay high attention to personal and property security.
2. The customs clearance time for some international (regional) passenger flights at Changsha and Zhangjiajie airports is relatively concentrated. Passengers are suggested to arrive at the airport two hours in advance to go through check-in and customs inspections, so as to avoid missing the flights;
3. There are manned and self-served channels for customs inspection, with designated channels for Chinese citizens, foreigners, and special passengers. Please ensure to queue up for inspection according to the guidance of the police officers on the site.
